Production Schedule

Earlier in the week, I was thinking about the footage I have for the documentary. Now I was planning to just use some clips off my phone but then I thought that they are not great quality and have my stuff in the background, so to make it more professional I’m planning to borrow a camera and put the kittens in a clean more of a better-looking setting, with toys, possibly feed them and film them playing and eventually sleeping. I will use some pictures and maybe videos off my phone.

Interview
I am planning to ask my mum about how it has been to look after kittens and what kitten care entails, so questions like how to wean kittens? How to litter train them? And their behaviour over the past few weeks? These questions if answered with enough information will be used as the voice over.

Interviewee: Ruthy (My Mum) 
My mum is one of the people who look after the kittens. She feeds them, spends time with them and makes sure they are doing well while I'm at college as I am their main caregiver.
Over the 10 weeks we had the kittens my mum had witnessed to lots of the kittens behaviour so by interviewing her I would get information about looking after kittens that is different from online or in care books and different reactions to the new thing introduced to the kittens unique from again online and care books.

here are some of the questions, I will ask the interviewee

how Nora took care of them?

This would get how nora's care was different from other cats care towards their kittens

how to wean them? Train them?

This would get our experience with getting kittens to use a litter tray properly and how long it took the kittens to used to eating food then transitioning to  solid food

How they interact?

This question would get how the kittens behaviour was from the start to the end when they went to their forever homes.

how their day to day lives have changed over the past few weeks?

How old were they when they went to their forever homes?

What happens next to them?

Where are they going?

All of these questions would answer how we took care of these kittens and also provide information on how to look after kittens all together, these answers would be how our kittens reacted to all the new things introduced them and provide a basic idea of how kittens should react to any of these new things.

Voice Over 
In my documentary I am unsure whether to have a voice over or not so after the interview which I plan to use as the voice over, I'm going to make a voice over to fill in a few blanks incase there are any. For the voice over I plan to say things like the kittens date of birth and how many kittens there were. my voice over wasn't scripted as I had a small idea of what I needed to say. in the final piece I only use one piece of dialogue I recorded as the other stuff was for mainly something i didn't include in the final piece.
