12/02/20: This project has gone well so far, the only bad thing I would say is that when the lady came to get the kittens as she was the one to have them I should have got an interview with her but I didn't have a camera.
what I did well
After the weeks of not really knowing how I was going to execute my idea, I surprisingly got my documentary to 5 minutes. There is clear explanation of how to care for the kittens and the footage reflects that.
what I need to improve
In this project I didn't really have a clear idea of what I wanted to do so for a couple of weeks I was just filming stuff and writing stuff down in case I needed it for when I would eventually get an idea. What I need to do for next time is to speed up the idea process and get a clear idea very early on. Also throughout the project I neglected blogger which was because I didn't know what I wanted to do, so possibly next time if I felt this way I could note down the ideas I did have in blogger so that maybe that would help me pick an idea or route to go.
what I'll use next time
During this project we learned lots of modes and techniques which would be useful for mr to use if I was going to do another documentary, but for any other project I unfortunately can't think of anything probably again because I didn't really know what to do.
I know my planning and evaluation isn't too detailed but I can't really think anything else to put at the moment and I probably won't have time to go back and add since it is the end of the project.
overall my planning and time management could have been way better for this project, if they had been better maybe my documentary would be better quality, next time I will try to keep my ideas limited to the first 2 weeks and try to get a final and clear idea by then. my documentary now that I have finished it does seem to have turned out the way I wanted it when I did finally figure something out. my documentary may not be the best quality or executed, it still gets the point and facts across.
